Sold a 40,000 SF Industrial Facility for Torrington Company to Easter Seals, at Avenue of Industry, Waterbury.
Sold Wesco Property to PepBoys, on Wolcott Street in Waterbury.
Sold the former Grossman's Lumber on Chase Avenue, Waterbury to Aldi's Supermarket, for over $l,000,000.
Sold the former Belden Lumber Company on 1074 Wolcott Street, Waterbury to Powerhouse Gym.
Leased a 9,800 square foot light industrial building for A.A. Pandozzi Company to Coltech Industries in the Naugatuck Industrial Park, Naugatuck.
Tom Hill was awarded exclusive listings on 50,000 square foot of new industrial warehouse construction "For lease" in the Watertown Industrial Park; and the leasing for a 50 acre Retail Power Center for "Big Box" tenants next to the Four Points Sheraton Hotel & Costco Wholesale Club in Waterbury, along 1-84.

K-Mart01 (Small).JPG (11700 bytes) Sold this 90,000 square foot neighborhood shopping center anchored by K-Mart for a national mortgage note buyer to a group of local investors.
Sports Authority (Small).JPG (15898 bytes) Tom sold a REIT – The land for parking to accommodate this Sports Authority.
Home Depot (Small).JPG (15512 bytes) Hill showed Home Depot many properties in Central and N.W. Connecticut and eventually sold their designated developer in Downtown Waterbury.
Eastern Company (Small).JPG (13516 bytes) Tom helped Eastern Company convert an old functionally obsolete 200,000 square foot foundry to a modern grocery anchored neighborhood shopping center. Issues Tom helped to overcome where:
  • Environmental cleanup
  • Demolition
  • State traffic permits that included $500,000 in off-site improvements
  • Zoning approvals
  • Closing issues with the teams of attorney’s from both sides, before the developer could actually build the new stores.

By the way, Big "Y" thanked Tom for convincing them that this site would be a winner!

Aldi Supermarket (Small).JPG (12119 bytes) Tom Hill sold the former Grossman’s Lumber Company, on Chase Avenue, to Aldi Supermarket for over $1,000,000.00! Tom also assisted Aldi’s site engineer B. Pep Boys (Small).JPG (14146 bytes) This national automotive retailer sells everything but gas. Having tried to locate here for over 2 years with no success, Tom had an old factory exclusively listed with a pre-existing environmental problem that with clean up would fit the bill. Working closely with Pep Boys professional site consultants and Attorney Carl Peterson of Gager & Peterson, Tom turned this complicated real estate problem into a new $5 million store.
K-Mart02 (Small).JPG (12206 bytes) Tom sold a 90,000 SF shopping center anchored by K-Mart and an IGA grocery store for a national note buyer. Hill has worked with K-Mart on locational requirements around Connecticut.
