TOM HILL III JOINS FORCES WITH

COLDWELL BANKER COMMERCIAL – SCALZO GROUP 

(Waterbury, CT-August 5, 2003) -- Paul Scalzo, President of Scalzo Group Real Estate Services, is pleased to announce that Tom Hill III has joined Coldwell Banker Commercial – Scalzo Group as Vice President.  Through this merger the firm will continue to represent the commercial needs of the greater Waterbury area at its location at 922 Chase Parkway and will operate under the name Coldwell Banker Commercial Scalzo - Tom Hill Group.  In addition Mr. Hill’s website, tomhill.com, will link with coldwellbankerccs.com and continue to focus on the Waterbury market. 

Tom will spearhead the organization’s strategic plans to grow and expand their presence in the greater Waterbury area with a strong emphasis on the Danbury to Waterbury I-84 corridor. “Tom has close ties to the Waterbury community and his integrity, professionalism and in-depth knowledge of the area’s commercial and industrial real estate markets will bring tremendous value to our company.  We are very excited to have him onboard and are looking forward to a successful partnership with him”, said Paul Scalzo.   

Mr. Hill brings over 20 years of real estate experience to his new role and is one of only 300 worldwide brokers that have earned two of the industry’s most prestigious designations, Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and Society of Industrial & Office Realtors (SIOR), and the only broker in the Waterbury area to have achieved this milestone.  He is also the host of a weekly radio show, The Tom Hill Show, on WATR-1320 AM which focuses on the region’s economic development and quality of life issues and the host/producer of Spot Light on Tourism which is sponsored by the Waterbury Region Convention & Visitor’s Bureau.  A member of the Waterbury Chamber of Commerce, Tom has a strong commitment to the community and its economic growth.
